Your proposal should make the equipment and installation scope easy to understand. We’ll talk through the choices and identify any additional work your property needs.
System pricing depends on more than panel count. Equipment, roof access, layout, switchboard requirements and any work on an existing system all matter.

A battery changes how you can use stored solar energy, while an EV or growing household may change your future electricity needs. We can discuss these alongside the solar design rather than assuming every home needs the same setup.

If you already have solar, we can assess whether repair, replacement or a new system is the right next step. We also offer solar panel removal and full-system removal where required.

How much will my solar system cost?
It depends on the equipment, system design and work required at your property. Roof access, switchboard work and changes to existing solar can affect the total. We’ll provide a site-specific quote so you can see what is included.
How do you decide how many panels I need?
We consider your power use, when you use electricity, roof space and shading, budget and future plans. Panel count alone doesn’t tell you whether a system suits your home.
Can you explain panels and inverter options?
Yes. We can explain the differences between suitable equipment, including features, compatibility, warranties and price, without expecting you to become a solar expert first. The proposed equipment will be identified in your quote.
Should I install a battery at the same time?
That depends on your usage and goals. Tell us whether storing energy or planning for future battery installation is important to you, and we’ll explain suitable options. Backup capability depends on the specific equipment and installation design; it should never be assumed.
Who completes the installation?
Our in-house SAA-accredited solar team carries out the work. You deal directly with Solair Electrical for the installation and any questions afterwards.
How long does installation take?
Timing depends on the system, roof, electrical work, network requirements and availability. We’ll confirm the expected schedule for your job rather than promise the same turnaround for every property.
Do you organise the grid connection?
We handle grid-connection paperwork as part of the process. Any approval conditions, export arrangements or additional requirements relevant to your system will be discussed before installation.
What if I have an older solar system?
We can assess the existing system and discuss whether repairs or replacement make sense. If removal is needed, we can include the agreed removal scope in your proposal.
